Hello

Hi...I am Marcus Gipson and I’ve been a student of photography for more than 30 years. (By the way, J Mariah is the name I chose for my business to honor my parents.)  My sister was a journalism major in college and gave me a camera for Christmas when I was 12 years old, and it seems I’ve had it in my hands since then.  I think it's really cool that I've been able to turn my  passion for photography into a professional service.

It's important when hiring a photographer that you have the conversations that really reveal what you want in your photography session.  My goal is to get to know you and combine my gift of storytelling with your photographic needs.   This results in you receiving a first class product that you will cherish for years to come. Whether you need digital images for social media, or hi-resolution printed material, we strive to meet your needs and ensure you are satisfied with your products.  Our photo sessions are fun, and there is nothing more rewarding than hearing a customer say "you really captured who I am  in these shots."
